Monologue.

Sharon welcomed the listeners and talked about the importance of water in life and life in water. She said that it is imperative for everyone to realize the importance of water, to drink plenty of water and to carry water with them if they are unsure of a water source. Dehydration, or lack of water, is out of control in our world and causes or contributes to ailments from allergies to obesity.

Guest: The Host, Sharon Kleyne

Sharon Kleyne (Grants Pass, OR), syndicated radio talk show host and Founder, Chairman and Research Director of Bio-Logic Aqua Research. "Water, Nutrition and Public Education."

The second guest cancelled at the last minute and instead, Sharon talked about the show and its objectives. She discussed the importance of self-education in maintaining health, personal choice and quality of life. She is pleased at the diversity of viewpoints and new information that her myriad and diverse guests have been able to provide.

Obviously, much of the Sharon Kleyne Hour focuses on water. Sharon noted that the Baltimore public schools recently eliminated vending machines and is even starting to grow some if its own foods, which fits well with Kathy Gruver's "eat seasonally and locally" message. Also, says Sharon, the world's primary water need is for more drinkable fresh water. She noted that irrigation, in addition to feeding crops, also replenishes the aquifer or water table beneath the farmland.

Finally, Sharon reminded listeners that all past shows may be heard at any time by going to the World Talk Radio/Sharon Kleyne Hour website. Also, for a complete listing of past and upcoming shows, and a downloadable summary of past shows, listeners can go to www.SharonKleyneHour.com.
