This book "Meet Einstein" came about when Mrs. Kleiner's daughter asked her to read to her a book about Einstein's theory of relativity. Interestingly, the child was fascinated, partly because Mrs. Kleiner stopped frequently to explain things in very basic terms.
This led to a series of books for children on "Einstein for Kids," co-written with her husband, who is a scientist.
The Kleiners feel it is important to introduce children to the sciences at an early age. This encourages analytical thinking and motivates children to go into the sciences and to take hard classes in school. The need for scientists is huge.
